Privacy Policy
Notice on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
BIC Incubatori FVG S.r.l., registered office in Via Flavia 23/1, 34148 Trieste, Italy, VAT / Tax ID 00686200320.
BIC Incubatori FVG S.r.l. is a sole-shareholder company subject to the management and coordination of Innova S.p.A., pursuant to Article 2497 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.
For any request regarding the processing of personal data: privacy@incubatori.fvg.it.
Data collected
Ordinary browsing of the site does not involve the collection of identifying personal data, except for data voluntarily provided by the user — for example through the contact form (name, surname, email, phone, company, message content).
Purposes and legal basis of processing
- Responding to requests submitted via the contact form — legal basis: consent of the data subject.
- Providing business incubation services to settled companies — legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Compliance with legal, tax, and accounting obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.
How data is processed
The site's contact form is handled by a dedicated microservice that stores nothing in any database: no copy of the request is kept by the site once the email has been sent. The message is delivered through the transactional email service SMTP2GO (Sand Dune Mail Limited), which processes the data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the Controller as a data processor pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, under a Data Processing Agreement signed by the Controller and with processing on infrastructure located within the European Union. Processing uses IT tools and security measures appropriate to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
Data recipients
Data collected via the contact form is intended for BIC Incubatori FVG staff responsible for handling the request. The only external party involved is the email delivery provider named in the previous section, acting as a data processor appointed by the Controller. Data is never sold, transferred, or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
Transfers outside the EU
Data processing takes place on infrastructure located within the European Union. The email delivery provider is based in New Zealand, a country for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision under Article 45 of the GDPR: any access to the data by the provider's staff therefore concerns a country ensuring an adequate level of protection. No transfers to countries lacking adequate safeguards are envisaged.
Data retention
Data submitted via the contact form is not retained by the site: sending generates a single email to the recipient and nothing is saved server-side. The email delivery provider processes the message for the technical time needed for delivery and retains its logs for the period set out in the relevant Data Processing Agreement. Data exchanged in the context of a contractual relationship with a settled company is retained for the period required by law (generally 10 years for tax and accounting records).
Your rights
Under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the right to request at any time: access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@incubatori.fvg.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
